"The Gallery is one of the major beneficiaries from the collection of Joseph F. McCrindle (1923–2008), having received 13 paintings and nearly 300 old master and modern drawings. This exhibition celebrates McCrindle's legacy with 71 of the finest gifts of drawings by a broad range of artists spanning five centuries, including a notable group of watercolors by John Singer Sargent."
